Info campaigns about recognition of ethnical diversity will be held in Smyadovo and Vetrino

Two info campaigns with main subject the active recognition and appreciation of ethnical diversity and differentiation will be held this week in Vetrino and Smyadovo.

We invite you to take part in the campaigns on 7th of April 2016 (Thursday) from 02:00 p.m. at the Plenary Hall of Municipality of Vetrino and on 8th of April 2016 (Friday) from 10:00 a.m. at the Museum complex in Smyadovo.

As part of project activities, information campaign "Give a hand to children at risk" took place in Vetrino village on 14th of January. During the meeting parents of 3 – 6 Year olds, stakeholders and administration officials discussed topics like adaptation of children to social environment in the kindergarten; family and education and family and parents. All topics were presented by an expert with extensive experience in this field.

Blue Sea School was organized and conducted for the children from Smyadovo and Vetrino municipalities. From 30th of September till 3rd of October took place the Blue School  for children from “Shtastlivo detstvo”, Belogradetz village and “Vasil Levski”, Vetrino village kindergartens and children from “Margaritka”, Smyadovo city, “Shtastlivo detstvo”, Rish village, and “Radost”,Yankovo village kindergartens were in Kranevo from 5 till 8 October 2015.

Renovation of playground and yard of “Margaritka” kindergarten in Smyadovo city has been done. The activity is realized by financial support of European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2009 – 2014 under the project BG06-210 "Chance for Social Inclusion of Children in the Municipalities of Smyadovo and Vetrino".

Second parents ‘meeting took place in “Shastlivo detstvo” kindergarten, Belogradetz village, Vetrino Municipality on 18th of March 2015. Romani parents were invited and attended the meeting. During the meeting Roma mediators discussed the topic “Hygiene Habits for Kids” and “Healthy eating”. Health topic was discussed as well by parents, teachers, mediators and members of the management team of the project during the meeting.

First parents ‘meeting took place in “Margaritka” kindergarten in Smyadovo city with the kind support of the Family-Councelling Center for Parents and little Children in Veliki Preslav on 30th of January 2015. Romani parents of children in “Margaritka” kindergarten were invited and attended the meeting. During the meeting Roma mediators discussed the topic “Hygiene Habits for Kids” and colleagues from the Family-Councelling Center for Parents and little Children presented short movie clip about prevention of early marriages.
